A Sexually Violent Predator* is ordered to be released to a proposed property at 400 North Central Avenue, near Turlock in January 2026, next door to six children who meet his victim profile, a school bus stop directly in front of a neighbor’s home, and near at least 38 children within a one-mile radius, including two children with special needs.

 

Stanislaus County District Attorney Jeff Laugero, Stanislaus County Sheriff Jeff Dirkse, and Turlock Police Chief Jason Hedden strongly oppose this placement and need your help to protect our community. The court is seeking all public comments submitted by December 19, 2025.
